About halfapintpub

What is halfapintpub?

A digital tavern for tabletop role-playing games, hobby projects, and late-2000s internet nostalgia. We brew homebrew adventures, tinker with weird tech, and occasionally glitch the matrix.

The Name

“Half a pint” - because sometimes a full measure is too much, but you still want the good stuff. Also, it sounds like something a halfling would order at the inn.

What You’ll Find Here

  • TTRPG Content: Homebrew rules, adventure hooks, character concepts, and campaign logs
  • Hobby Projects: Code snippets, DIY builds, and experiments with retro tech
  • Nostalgia: Aesthetic throwbacks to the Winamp, CRT, and dial-up era
  • Ramblings: Occasionally coherent thoughts on games, tech, and creativity

The Vibe

Imagine a dimly-lit basement rec room, circa 2004. A CRT monitor hums in the corner running a Winamp visualization. A stack of polyhedral dice sits next to a half-empty Mountain Dew can. The walls are covered in character sheets, circuit diagrams, and inside jokes only the DM understands.
